At just eleven years old, he made his theatrical debut portraying Travis Younger in the classic production A Raisin in the Sun with the All Peoples Community Theatre Group. That formative experience ignited a lifelong love of storytelling and performance.
His artistic interests expanded throughout his youth. During high school, Stewart showcased his talents as a dancer on the legendary television program Soul Train, before later appearing on American Bandstand while attending college.
